Uncaged Review: Blair Brighton, the rebellious daughter of her dad, Jamison, is busily working at the Dazzling Bean coffeehouse. Blair sees Dalton Barnes, a business partner of her father’s and someone that she secretly has had a crush on for a long time. Blair’s plan is to seduce him. Dalton can’t resist Blair but also doesn’t realize who she really is. Of course, when Dalton finds out, the only thing he can do is avoid her. Dalton does everything he can to evade Blair, yet still the memories of the sensual things they did never leave his brain. When Blair’s father finally finds a way to ruin her, Dalton figures he will help Blair out, but can he steer clear of her without it destroying the business partnership between Jamison and him?
What a steamy erotic captivating novel that is definitely worth the read! Usually I balk at age-gap stories because of the age difference, making me a little disgusted, but no, I didn’t really feel that with this story and I just thoroughly enjoyed it! This had the right amount of sex and the plot twists were believable and easy to imagine. The settings were breathtakingly beautiful, especially where the hero lived, which made me want to go there too. Sure, there were some minor spelling errors which didn’t really detract from the story. I even thought that maybe it could be a downloading problem. Blair, the self-doubting but sassy heroine despite her insecurities, was still loveable and made me like her a lot more. I liked that Dalton made her journal which as the book went along we learned that Blair is a lot stronger than she appears to be. I would have liked to read his journal entries too, because, obviously, he has many secrets as well. For me to read the last book in the series is an oversight on my part. Luckily, the book can stand on its own, but now I will definitely read them all!
