Uncaged Review: This book is the conclusion to
the Valiant Vikings trilogy and it’s a fitting ending to
this series. To be honest, I never really wanted this
book to end, I was immersed within the first couple
chapters. The mythology, lore and fantasy woven
into this story so seamlessly and it takes you right
into the story, something that is very well known
from this author.
This book revolves around Haldor, who can transfer
into a falcon and helps to train warriors for Normandy.
The prophecy of Skjold (son of the Dragon of
Denmark) is foretold, but the price will be high for
the prophecy to come true. But will the destiny that
Haldor’s love, Ulvhild , which she has seen, come
to pass? Will Skjord be able to fulfill his prophecy?
Characters from previous books are here, and this is
quite the ending. I’m sad that the trilogy is over, but
if you haven’t picked up this author’s works yet, this
trilogy is a great introduction to this gifted author.
